Detailed Description

Vom Malosa-Massiv stammen die wohl weltgrößten und weltbesten Ägirine, oft paragenetisch mit tw. großen, scharfen, weißen Mikroklin-Kristallen*, Zirkon und manchmal auch Rauchquarz auftretend. Große Kristalle auch von Arfvedsonit, Epididymit auf Quarz und Parisit-(Ce).

In den späten 90er Jahren kamen abertausende von Feldspat/Ägirinstufen und tonnenweise Ägirin-Einzelkristalle auf den europäischen und den US-Markt.

*Bis heute wurden nur wenige Feldspäte analysiert; die Aussage, dass es sich bei den bekannten perfekt kristallisierten Späten um Mikroklin handelt, ist lediglich eine Hypothese. Wie aus der Liste ersichtlich, wird auch Orthoklas aufgeführt. Die genaue Bestimmung lässt noch auf sich warten.
