Additional information / Summary

Das Mineral wurde vom Amphibol-Subkomitee (2012) umbenannt von Alumino-Magnesiotaramit zu Taramit. Das frühere Taramit ist jetzt Ferro-Taramit.

Beim Vergleich mit älterer Litertur ist darauf zu achten, dass die neue Formel von Taramit Fe3+ < Al hat. Taramit mit Formel Fe3+ > Al sind damit Ferro-Taramit.
