Additional information / Summary

Bei der Nanomineralogie-Untersuchung des kohlenstoffhaltigen Chondriten Allende CV3 wurde ein neues Silikatmineral mit Wadalit-struktur in der Typ B1 Ca-Al-reichen Einschließung identifiziert. Der Meteorit ist das erste natürliche Vorkommen des Minerals. Das Mineral kommt als wenige 2-6 µm große Körner vor.
