A recent (2013) find of radiating aggregates of pumpellyite that display elaborate color banding. A green iron rich rim transitions into a dark brown manganese rich core of pumpellyite-Mn(II). It is a new report for the state of Michigan and represents an interesting color variant of the state's gemstone. Collected by Shawn M.
