IMA status |
Ursprünglich 2010 von der IMA im Rahmen einer Revision der Nomenklatur der Turmalin-Gruppe neu definiert. Die Anerkennung wurde von der IMA im Jahr 2018 zurückgezogen (IMA 2000-030a), da analytische Arbeiten ergaben, dass es sich bei dem Typusmaterial um einen potenziell neuen Oxy-Turmalin handelt. Schließlich wurde die Anerkennung für den Vorschlag IMA 2019-113 mit einer anderen Typlokalität (Elba, Italien) im Jahr 2020 erteilt, die Publikation erschien in 2022. |
