Gustav Rose nannte das Mineral im Jahr 1826 "Zinkenite", nach dem deutschen Mineraloge und Bergbau Geologen Johann Ludwig Karl Zinken (manchmal Zincken) (1798-1862). Die häufigere Schreibweise des Namensgebers wäre Zincken. Da Rose das Mineral Zinkenite nannte ist dies der priorisierte Name. [1] |
