Forum

Our forum is designed in so-called "Responsive Design" and therefore automatically adapts to the size of your screen. You can easily access the forum with most mobile browsers. Special software is no longer necessary. We have therefore discontinued our previous support via our own app (program).

Localities to take with you - for Android phones without internet connection

There are so called apps, small programs that you can install on your Android mobile device. One such program is called "Locus PRO" and can be installed for about 5€ from the Android Market. With the extensin "Locus - addon Vector maps" for about 1,5€ you can download the whole world as vector maps to your mobile device easily. To download the whole world you need a lot of disk space. A 32 gigabyte memory card, would be fine. Individual countries are far more space-saving and should meet with a few 100MB for most trips. The maps themselves are available free of charge.

The special feature of the program is the ability to load our Mineralienatlas coordinate files. You always have an overview of which Localities are located around you. This also works without an internet connection.

The program offers numerous other functions that we don't want explain any further.

You can find our regional gps coordinates on the locality pages or the whole data in one big file.

The pictorials show barcodes and can be scanned from mobile device to get easy access to the url.

Please remember that the mobile usage can cause costs depending on your mobile contract. Roaming charges in foreign countries can become very expensive.
