Dieser etwa 103 mm mal 58 mm große "Mary Ellen Jasper" stellt eine stromatolithische Bildung der Cyanobakterienart Collenia undosa dar. Mit einem Alter von 2,1 Milliarden Jahren stellen diese verkieselten Bakterienschleier eines der ältesten, bislang bekannten Lebensspuren dar. Gefunden wurde dieses Stück in der Mesabi Iron Range im nördlichen Minnesota.
